This tour includes a visit to the Monastery of Blessed Patapius and Lake Vulyagmini. At a distance of 14 km. from the town of Loutraki, on the road to Perachora, on one of the spurs of the Geranian Mountains, above the calm waters of the Corinth Canal, at an altitude of about 700m. above sea level rises the majestic monastery of Blessed Patapius.
The Holy Monastery of Agios Patapios in Gerania is located 14 km from Loutraki and belongs to the Holy Diocese of Corinth, Sicyon, Zemenos, Tarsus, and Polypheus. The monastery was built on the slope of the peak at a height of 650 m around a small cave, which was originally used as a skete, but then, by the care of the clergy and laity, took the form of a pavilion.
