Overview of the Tour
Our tour starts making our way to Profitis Ilias Monastery. Situated on the highest point of the island at 600 meters above the sea you will have the chance to enjoy fantastic panoramic views to all directions visit the Monastery of Profitis Ilias and a Greek Orthodox chapel and take some amazing photos.
Then continuing to Santo Wines, the biggest winery of Santorini. From its several terraces with the magnificent view to caldera and the sea you can have the chance to enjoy wine tasting accompanied by the snacks and sweets (at your own cost).
Next to our tour is the lighthouse, one of the oldest in Greece. Offers wonderful romantic scene with stanning view of the island.
Red beach is very close so it is our next stop. From its nice viewpoint you will enjoy unforgettable views to its unique and beautiful red sand and red rocks contrasting the deep blue sea.
Then, will be the right time to relax, swim and have lunch. So our next destination is Perissa Beach, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the crystal clear waters and sun on the unique black volcanic sand have lunch to one of the numerous nearby seaside restaurants (own expense) during your free time.
Our next stop is Firostefani and its famous blue-domed church popular from posters and advertisements. We will walk through the village of Firostefani towards the iconic blue domed church and enjoy unforgettable views.
Finally, the tour concludes in Oia Village, the most famous village of Santorini. We will stroll in the narrow streets, browse local boutiques and catch the most glorious sunset you have ever experienced.
Prophet Elias Monastery is perched at the peak of Mount Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah). From its top (567 m), the highest point of Santorini, you will have the chance to enjoy fantastic panoramic views to all directions. You will be able to visit the 18th century Monastery, a Greek Orthodox chapel and take amazing photos from the church yard. (15 min)
Οur next stop takes us to Santo Wines. The biggest winery in Santorini, a cooperative of winemakers having more than 1000 members. Santo Wines offers several terraces with a fantastic view on Caldera, the Cliffside and the Volcano of Nea Kameni for wine tasting accompanied by the snacks and sweets (20 min)
Akrotiri lighthouse was build in 1892 and is considered one of the oldest lighthouses in Greece and one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Cyclades. The lighthouse is situated in a peaceful place, surrounded by sea, ideal for blissful, romantic moments. It offers stunning views of the island, the ancient ruins of Akrotiri and of course, the nearby villages. (15 min)
Red Beach, known for its unique and beautiful red sand and a great panoramic view of the red rocks contrasting the deep blue sea. Red Beach is one of the most striking beaches of the island and the mixture of the black and dark red sand presents a rare and unique landscape. (20 min)
Continue on to Perissa-Perivolos Black Beach, the busiest and most famous beach of Santorini with the impressive black volcanic sand and the crystal-clear waters. Here you will have plenty of time to swim and enjoy lunch in one of the many amazing seaside restaurants. (2.5 hrs)
You will have the opportunity to walk through the village of Firostefani towards the iconic blue domed church that perfectly matches the blue sky and the background of Santorini’s caldera in the Aegean Sea. The famous blue-domed church popular from posters and advertisements. (15 min)
Finally, the tour will close with a visit to Oia village, definitely the most famous village of Santorini. Considered one of the most photogenic places on Earth, Oia village is famous for its unique architecture, captains’ houses, Blue Domes, cave houses and the world’s best sunset. You will have the chance to wander around through the narrow streets, browse local boutiques, and catch the unforgettable glorious sunset. (2.5 hrs)
